Apprentice Training

  • Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) approved training centre
  • Modern Apprenticeship training at SVQ Level 3 programmes for all mainstream trades
  • Level 2 apprenticeship programmes including Plant Operations, Ames Taping and Construction Operatives
  • Management of all aspects of apprenticeships, including grant funding administration and support

The Skills Academy (Construction)

  • Provides Training programmes to assist people into employment, in partnership with local and national organisations
  • Variety of employer-supported training programmes, from 6 weeks to 12 months, in conjunction with Skills Development Scotland
  • Training provider for Get Ready for Work
  • Our range of short courses includes construction plant, Street Works Qualification, underground service cable avoidance training (Cat & Genny) and a variety of health & safety courses.

RSBi Learning Centre

  • Custom-built Learning Centre equipped with the latest assistive technology
  • Learning and up-skilling training for all RSBi staff
  • Provides the opportunity to learn in a familiar environment during the working day
  • Building links with local training providers to form community partnerships
